OK, I took some time to update my blog today, so let me know what you think, if you still happen to be reading it. These two cards are super easy and are using the one of the new level 1 hostess sets ‘Because I Care’.

Here are some cards I made using some retired paper and cardstock. The stamps are the extreme stamps, and my boys just love these. I used some of these cards for the youth to make cards to send to From Our Hearts which is a not for profit organization that sends blank hand crafted cards to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan so they will have cards to send home.

Well, I am still here. Life has been very busy. I have been stamping during my business, and even taking some photos of my samples, I just haven’t been downloading those photos. so here is a card that I made for a swap. This is a stamp set that will be in the new catalog in July. It is really a fun stamp set.

Tristan has been having fun making the build a bears using the Big Shot and the die cuts. Back in February, he made a couple and took to school, as a result, he came home with several requests. So on a Saturday a week or so ago, he spent several hours down in the stamp room creating to his classmates, and teachers requests, and interests. These are what he made. The only thing I did to help him was show him which supplies he could and could not use, give him a clear space to work, and request that it all be picked up when he was finished. (I wished I had gotten pictures of his little work area, but I didn’t).
Who says your bears have to be brown or black? Why not go for red?
Or yellow?
Or Orange?
At least he had fun. And he was pretty creative too. He created the megaphone all on his own as well. Even gave 1 of the cheerleaders wrist bands.
I need to get some pictures made of the projects I’ve been working on. So hopefully I will have more to show you soon.

Gene is in a community play here in Wellington tonight and tomorrow afternoon. They are doing it as a fund raiser for our little local theatre The Ritz. They are also doing a silent auction before the performance. Each cast member had to bring something. I have been following Ellen Kemper’s blog, and have CASE’d several of her punch art characters, including the 7 dwarfs. I just love how they turned out! She was putting a basket together using all 7 of them for a get well basket. I took that and changed it bit to make an all around basket. I think the end result is really great.
Here is a close up of Sleepy. He is on a box of Chamomile tea. Notice the picture of the cottage on the box.
You can see Happy in the back on a Ritz gift card, and grumpy attached to some lemonade jelly beans.
Dopey is attached to a bag of pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels, and roasted pecans. Bashful is hanging out on a couple of mugs with a little coffee sample.
Here you can see Doc attached to a can of chicken noodle soup, and Sneezy attached to a travel pack of Kleenex. They were a lot of fun! Thanks Ellen for such wonderful creations.

Yes, I am still here. Our spring break vacation was crazy! We got stuck 30 miles from our first destination by traffic in snow. We sat for 3 hours not moving at all, the car in park, and even off for an hour, in the middle of a major interstate. It took 5 hours to travel that 30 miles, and we finally arrived at the hotel at 2am. Coming home wasn’t as bad, but once again the interstate was closed, so our trip was delayed by a day. We chose to stay and rest in the Hotel as opposed to fighting the traffic and slow speed limits. A wise choice, we were so tired, we did nothing but rest and let the boys swim.
Here are some more card that I cased from Michelle Zindorff. She is amazing, and I’ve really had fun learning a new way to use some of my crafting tools. Hope you enjoy them too!
This last card was made for the wonderful man who has done all the hard work on our house during our remodel. We really appreciate his attention to detail, and so I wanted to make him a very special card.
Hope to post some more soon. I have lots of fun things I’ve made, but I need to photo them, and download the photos. Still need to download the photos from Spring Break too!
Have a great weekend!

Here is the card I made for Gene for his birthday. It was in conjunction with a sketch challenge on Stampin’ Connection, but due to the remodeling that took place at the house, I didn’t get it uploaded for the challenge. I still think it is great though.
And here is the super fun project we did at a 14 year old birthday party last night! Everyone had such fun making this. It is a clipboard converted into a chalkboard. We covered it with some of the vinyl chalkboard sheets that Stampin’ Up! is carrying right now. Super Fun!
Here is a close up of the super fun flower using pages out of an old book. Isn’t it just adorable?
We are heading off tomorrow for spring break week. Blessings to all!

I have seen some awesome tutorials by Michelle Zindorf on using a brayer. I’ve always been too intimidated to try it, but for some reason, I found some of her finished cards that I absolutely loved, so I gave them a try. I think they turned out pretty cool. What do you think? This first one is for Gene’s Grandfather. His birthday is today. 88 I think is how old he is. He loves to fish, and thought this would be a great card for him. Gene loved it.
This card makes me think of my son Tristan. This is one of the stamps I got specifically with him in mind, and love having a really cool way to use it.
Not bad for my first attempts at her tutorials. Hopefully I will get better with practice. You can find more of her work here.
I have been doing some stamping, I just haven’t been real good about posting. Here are 2 cards I made last week while partcipating in some challenges with other Demonstrators.

These are the 5 cards we will be making in my Bird Punch class this month. If you are interested in taking these classes, please contact me.
I wasn’t sure I was crazy about this punch, but after playing with it and making these cards, I think I am in love. Wait until you see the poinsettia card I made using this punch and the layout of the first card on this post! Too cool!
