Boys! If it weren't for boys, life would sure be dull wouldn't it? Tristan and Caleb were playing last night, while I was uploading pics of my new cards (yes, I got to stamp yesterday for 4 hours). Caleb dodged Tristan, fell back and broke his fall with his head on the brick fireplace corner. As I am calmly comforting him, I realize my hand is sticky wet, so now I have to spend considerable time cleaning him to assess the need for a hospital visit. As I finally get to view the wound, which is difficult because he is wanting hugs and the wound is on the back of his head, so difficult for me to see with him facing me. Gene comes in from his meeting, ready to eat supper, gets caught up on the event, and we decide to play it safe and go to the ER. I half expect them to cry abuse since this is our second head injury visit with the same child since moving here in June. Instead, they try to hire me to work. Did I say I was looking for a job???? I don't think so, but maybe I'll consider it.
Anyway, I think we need to invest in wound glue. This is the third time we've glued Caleb's head in 2 years. He is only 4. How many more times I wonder???? No, no, no, Don't go there! He is fine this morning, and we are getting quite comfy with the ER. At least it didn't require a 30 minute drive to the ER like the first time did!
I do have several new things to post, so check back later for new things to see. Did I mention my order from the new catalog arrived yesterday, and I got to play with my new toys yesterday afternoon? I love the new texturz pads for the big shot. Be prepared to be wowed! Thanks for looking. Have a great Day!
