I have been busy stamping all day, and have some great cards for Christmas. I am planning a Christmas card class in October, and have been designing new ideas to use. It's been lots of fun, but I haven't had a chance to take pictures of the cards yet. Hopefully tomorrow. Last night's Halloween Stamp Class was great. Everyone had fun and wanted to be included in the card class. Be looking for dates for the class.
In addition to preparing for that, I have a scrapbook retreat in Amarillo this weekend with some friends, and know that it will be tons of fun. I just have to get prepared and packed for that as well. Never a dull moment at our house. Hope you all had a great last day of September. Where has this year gone? Thomas the Tank Engine

Here we are having our picture taken in front of Thomas the Tank Engine. Notice Thomas's eyes. They actually move when he moves. We took a 30 minute train ride with Thomas pulling the train. The boys thought it was great.

Sir Topham Hat

Here are Caleb and Daddy getting their picture taken with Sir Topham Hat. As you can see, Caleb is sporting his "cranky" look. We have just accepted that that will be his pose for most of his pictures these days. It is actually quite cute, (we just try really hard not to tell him that). The church thinks he's adorable when he is showing it off for them, (which is every Sunday.) We actually have quite a few funny stories involving him and church lately. Maybe I'll share a few one of these days. He definitely keeps us in stitches.

The boys had great fun seeing Thomas and playing at the Oklahoma Railway Museum. They had lots of fun activities for the kids to do, and we are very glad that we took the time to take the kids before Tristan was any older.

Off to see Thomas the Tank Engine - Train

We are headed to OKC this weekend to see Thomas the Train. My boys are both excited (yes, even Tristan hasn't outgrown Thomas yet!) We will also get to see friends, and have some fun. You may not hear from me for a couple more days. Feel free to leave comments about my blog. They are fun to read, and it's fun to know what everone thinks about it. Decor Elements line

This is the decor elements that I have put on the wall in our living room. Everyone loves it and comments on it. You can't even tell it is not stenciled on the wall. Looks terrific.

With Gratitude Pastels

I have eyed this stamp set since it hit the catalog, and I finally got it. One of my favorite techniques with leaves is the Poppin' Pastels. I thought this card turned out great! Simple, but pretty. Very limited supplies used. I apologize for the picture. I am still determining the best place for taking photos of my finished projects. All items used are Stampin' Up!

Supplies include: With Gratitude, VersaMark, Chocolate chip, more mustard, garden green, and some chocolate ribbon. Enjoy!

Halloween Stamp Class

Well, I am holding my first stamp class since being in Wellington. These are 3 of the projects we will be doing. They are lots of fun, and super easy. I got my order in today for the class, and included in the order were some new items out of the mini catalog that I plan on using for Christmas cards. Be looking for new ideas for that. We will be gone tomorrow for Gene's Grandparents 65th wedding anniversary. Hope to add another update in a day or two. Thanks for checking in.

Supplies used: Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow, Confetti, Say it with Scallops, Scallop Square punch, Square punch, Scallop Punch, Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

Isn't this card just beautiful.

Supplies include the Windsor Knot DSP, Sage shadow and chocolate chip. I also used one of the stamps from the fresh cuts set. I used the new Cute and curly and punch. Other items include flower fusion, silver brads, scallop punch, and old olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

My first adventure in blogging!

After many months of reading, viewing and exploring other blogs, I have finally decided to jump into the world of blogging for myself. I don't really know where this adventure will take me, but I know that it will be that, an adventure, and hopefully a way to keep in touch with friends that I have all over the place. I will continue to work on this and hopefully, let you get to know me through this blog, as well as expand my stamping creativity by the challenge of keeping current with the blog.
