I just love these cute little pumpkins. They are so easy to make, and are a great way to use extra paper.

Another Fall Card
Here is another fall card I made for an upcoming class. I was looking for a simple design and
also trying to incorporate the faux torn paper technique while keeping it simple. I used the Autumn Harvest set, using only the leaves and acorns, and I used pumpkin pie, and early espresso ink colors and cardstock. I added just a snip of ribbon peeking out from behind the greeting. This card also qualifies for the SUO challenge, so I decided to post it so I could be leave a link to the picture.
Thanks for looking and have a blessed week!

It feels like Fall!
It is so nice and cool this morning that it feels like the beginning of Fall! It seemed appropriate to show you 1 of the fall cards I’ve been working on.

Name tags for the boys backpacks
I wanted the boys to have a unique name tag for their backpacks, and I thought it might make them feel special to have them.
Tristan is into the extreme sports images, and loves to skate on his Ripstick, and on his new soul skate, so the extreme skateboard image seemed really appropriate.
Caleb loves anything Luigi from the Super Mario Bros. games. So this is what I came up with for him. They were both thrilled with what they got.
Here is Caleb wearing his new Luigi costume. He loves it!

Teacher Survival Kits!!
Our church does a Teacher appreciation luncheon every year for the Teachers of our schools here in Wellington and Samnorwood. We serve lunch to over 100 teachers, and we put together these gifts for them. They turned out great, and the luncheon was wonderful.
We have survived the first day of school. Both boys enjoyed it, and I can’t wait to hear how today went for them.

I love how this card turned out!
Yes, this is more retired designer paper, but this sure turned out cute.
School starts Monday. Finally spent today to get the kids supplies and back packs organized and ready to go. Spent last week preparing for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon that the church does every year. It turned out great! Stay tuned for pics of that later this week.

Animal Stories Cards!
I am trying to use up Designer Series paper that is retired, and not getting used. My other quest has been to make some super easy cards that can be easily made by anyone so we can send them to From Our Hearts! The following cards are the results of my efforts.
These first 2 cards are using animal stories. I converted this set to a clear mount stamp set, and it sure does make placement much easier for stamping.
This next card uses Awash with Flowers set. I didn’t want all the cards to be to juvenile looking, so I thought I would add a floral image.
And the last card again uses the Animal stories stamp set. I am very pleased with how these turned out, and hope that the upcoming card making events I have will prove to be very in recreating these fun cards.
Thanks for looking. Have a blessed Day! - Brandi

Because I Care
OK, I took some time to update my blog today, so let me know what you think, if you still happen to be reading it. These two cards are super easy and are using the one of the new level 1 hostess sets ‘Because I Care’.

Extreme Cards
Here are some cards I made using some retired paper and cardstock. The stamps are the extreme stamps, and my boys just love these. I used some of these cards for the youth to make cards to send to From Our Hearts which is a not for profit organization that sends blank hand crafted cards to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan so they will have cards to send home.
