Homecoming Build A Bears

Oh My Gosh!!!!! Aren't these just the cutest things you've seen? I just love how these turned out, and I am not want to get very excited about things. It started with trying to come up with some costumes for the bears to wear for Halloween besides the pumkin and witch. So I thought of a Cheerleader, and decided to try and make a football player. They turned out just Awesome!
This is the Cheerleader with a jacket.

And here is a Cheerleader without a jacket.

And here are the cute couple. They just might make Homecoming King and Queen!

(yes, it's Homecoming week in Wellington.)

Terrific Parisian Breeze Cards!

I cased these cards from Class in a Flash! I used the Parisian Breeze DSP which retired with the last catalog. I love this paper! Why didn't I break this package open before it retired. I love how these cards turned out too. They are so cool! We just may have to do a class on these in the future. I made these for the boys teachers. We gave them to them yesterday as a 'Thanks for helping us survive the first week of school!' They really are very pretty!

Thanks for looking and have a blessed weekend! Blessings - Brandi

Surviving the first week of school!

We are surviving the first week of school, and of course it had to be an absurdly crazy weekend leading into it. But here we are 3rd day in, and no major meltdowns yet. Caleb loves Pre-K, but doesn't really reveal much about what he does other than a cute little song "5 little monkeys sitting the tree, teasing Mr crocodile, 'can't catch me', along comes mister crocodile quiet as can be and snaps that monkey right out of the tree." We have really laughed over hearing him sing this.
So this card I made last month, using retired paper and cardstock. But I had so much fun playing. I ran the cardstock through the big shot to get some texture and absolutely love it! I have lots of other things I have made, I just have to get some photos snapped. Thanks for looking! God Bless - Brandi

Back to School!

Getting both boys ready for school tomorrow. Can't believe my baby is starting Preschool tomorrow. How is it possible for him to be this big already? And life goes on! Maybe I will be better about posting to my blog. I've got lots of thinks planned in my head for the upcoming future. We'll see how it all comes to fruition. Hope everyone has a great first week of school, (or second if you started last week).

I have seen this technique all over the internet, and finally had to try it. I actually made this card last month, just haven't taken the time to get it on the computer. The technique is really cool. Patty Bennet has it posted in her blog. And of course this fifth ave floral set is one of my favorites.
Thanks for looking! Blessings - Brandi
